Luke and Shera Learn to Ride Bikes!

We know, we know... Our kids have been deprived, but we've had the bikes, they just didn't have any desire to ride them! They are big razor fans and haven't had the need. So, yesterday Jeff and Drew took them on the street without training wheels and taught them. Just a few times and they had it down! Yeah!!!

Here they are about to show off their techniques!

It was so hot that day!

Luke stops with his feet!

Anybody related with the Starr Family will really enjoy this clip. I laughed so hard when Jeff talked about Brad here!!! Hee! Hee! Hee! And Drew did wash Sasha's "Gutter Tail" with a hose!

I had to add this cute photo I took yesterday of Noel and Holly stuffing their faces with a veggie sandwich for lunch. Yummy!!!

Luke's in the Peter Rabbit Musical!

Luke and Emily stood next to each other in the musical. They are good friends, but she's not one of his six girlfriends!

Little pink cottontails!
Sooo Cute!!!

This is Luke's face he makes at the end of his line. Below is his re-enactment of his one line in the musical. They sang a bunch too - but you guys are probably tired of hearing singing. We keep getting compared to the von Trapp Family Singers these days. LOL!!! Ha! Ha! But Luke definitely has it in his genes let me tell you!

Exta! Extra! Noel Takes The Lead...

In the school play that is... Yes, she is a little singer/actress as well. I guess you're starting to see a trend here in the family! Do you remember those shows on Saturday morning called "Schoolhouse Rock"? Well, they've put some of the best ones all together in a musical and she is the main girl, Dori. She got four solo songs in the performance and nailed each one! Yeah Noel! In this clip she sings, "Elbow Room".

Drew Speaks at MVHS Freshman Orientation

Drew was asked to speak at Mission's Freshman Orientation this past week. He has been so involved with a variety of activities in his high school career, the administration wanted him to share his experiences with the incoming freshman. I think he may have a future in public speaking. What say you? We're looking at majors and minors for BYU now...

There is Nothing Like A Dame!

Drew sang in his Spring Chamber Choir Concert a fun song from "South Pacific"! It's obvious he had a good time with this one!

Holly Wins Third Place In The Temecula Valley Vocal Competition!

After 3 hours of driving and a 6 hour classical voice competition, Holly and I finally arrived home today. She won 3rd place and $300.00 in this high school age classical competition. Woo! Hoo! Mission Mall here she comes!

Holly's friend, Jordan, stayed the entire day with us. He was so supportive! Thanks Jordan!

Here Holly is singing "Will There Really Be A Morning". Sorry the video is not too good! Oh well, I guess I was mesmerized by her song! Enjoy!

Fun Events From Last Week!

Drew received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo for his efforts in leadership at Mission Viejo High School. There was a breakfast and ceremony in which they celebrated his school spirit and "Diablo Pride"!

Holly went on her first date with Jordan Koford from Temecula. He took her to dinner and a Bon Jovi concert. They had a great time! Cute, huh?!?

Some of you have wanted an updated photo of Heidi. So, here she is with Sasha! They are inseparable! Heidi is the best thing we could do for Sasha. Since she is 10 years old now, she'd slowed down a bit, but Heidi has brought the spunk back into Sasha and it's been fun to see!

Ahhh... to have a dog's life!!!
See ya!

Spring Break In Utah!

We spent Easter in Utah this year with Jeff's parents.
So I thought I'd do a little recap of events! The kids dyed eggs in Grandma's kitchen!

Beautiful!

Our Easter dinner consisted of the annual "Coming into Summer Dinner" - Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Deviled Eggs!

Luke's weekly church nap!

Papa's dog, Rory, got dressed up as a super hero, courtesy of Luke!

We did do a little skiing too!

Noel couldn't put down New Moon! And if you don't know what that means, you're just not in with the "Romantic Vampire Novel Crowd"!

We went to Build a Bear and I got suckered into getting one too! How many of these animals do we need to have? We got a closet full!

The Stork Is Coming!!!

We Were So Excited!
The Stork Visited Our Home Last Week!
Happy Late April Fools...
Okay... Okay...
So it's not what you think, but a crane really did come to our home...
In our backyard to eat lizards for lunch.
He's come here twice that we know of...
Tried to take a photo, do you see him???

But I do want to share the April Fool's joke we played on Jeff!
We moved his car at the school parking lot and hid it! He looked 30 minutes before finally finding it! Of course I wouldn't tell him where it was when he called! (Far back corner of the student parking lot!) We love our traditional jokes on dad!!!

His space was especially saved that day, so he'd see it empty.

He just shook his head when he walked back into the office. Everyone smirked and acted like nothing happened! Thanks Marilyn for helping us pull it off! She's the principal and Jeff's boss!
