We had our first Halloween without Drew.

BYU's Homecoming!

We visited Drew at BYU during Homecoming.
It was sooo good to see him!

We beat New Mexico 21-3!

Drew went with Kelsie to the Homecoming Dance in the Wilkinson Center.

They went to the Spanish Fork Hot Springs afterwards.

A Nightmare Before Christmas at Disneyland

We love Disneyland in October when it's 90 degrees!

We went for family night and had a blast. Our favorite foods there are the churros, turkey legs, and soup bread bowls. Yummy!!!

The Haunted House is awesome during the holidays.
If you've never been, you gotta go!

Luke was finally tall enough to go on the
Indiana Jones' ride for the first time.
He loved it especially "the giant rock!"

Allred Olympic Pool Dedication

On October 4th we, The Allred Family, attended the Chapman University dedication of the Allred Olympic Pool and Aquatic Center. Mom Allred, the matriarch of our family, was honored and spoke at the ceremony.

The facilities are beautiful and now are fully equipped with 2 Olympic size pools, locker facilities, and stadium seating.

The president of Chapman, Dr. James Doti, won the race against the women's team.
(Yeah, right!)

Noel and Shera loved being with the cheerleaders!

Happy Birthday Sasha & Heidi

Sasha turned 11 on Aug. 27th and Heidi turned 1 on Sept. 6th.

The kids put birthday hats on them!

The Week of Firsts...

The week of September 1st, we had a lot of firsts...

Drew's first day at BYU as a freshman...

Noel's first day in 7th Grade at RSM Middle School...

Luke's first day in 1st Grade and all day school...

Shera missed the first day of 3rd grade
because of her 1st time with strep throat...

But made it back on the 2nd day of 3rd grade!

Luke's Loses His First Tooth!

Luke lost his first tooth on August 30, 2008. My last baby's first tooth!!! I know, I know, I shouldn't be so sentimental. But it was a very memorable occasion for us! And Luke was so excited to do it too... At first...

Jeff struggled getting the floss on his front bottom tooth.

Once he finally got it on, Jeff counted and pulled. The floss slipped off, but unknowingly to Luke, Jeff checked the tooth and since it was still there, he pushed it out quickly!

Of course Luke cried, but got over it soon after the blood was gone. The tooth fairy visited Luke that night - and he was very happy with his loot!
