We told Noel we were driving to the river on her birthday. She was a little bummed just because she has had two birthdays there in the last four years and she wanted to be at home and see her friends too. For anyone who has a birthday during a holiday - you understand what I'm talking about...
But Noel was a really good sport and positive about the whole thing. She opened presents and we had cake that afternoon at home before leaving.
But much to her surprise we made a little detour to pick up her best friends, Carissa and Aubry!
We surprised Noel with Dinner at the Daily Grill in Fashion Island and going to see Peter Pan Threesixty* Theatre! this is an amazing live show in a huge domed white tent. The visual effects were amazing and everyone was thrilled with how good it actually was!
During intermission, the kids bought giant Pixie-Sticks at the Candy Bar!
We ran into several people we knew including one of Noel's & Holly's great friends, Matt Beauchamp, who is a senior at Mission this year.
Did I mention that Grams and Drago joined in all the festivities too? The tent behind us is where we saw the show. They built it on an open site right next to the OC Performing Arts Center.
The girls got to drive back to Grams house in her Rolls Royce afterward to pick up the dogs - because now we really were on our way to the river with Noel's friends coming too!Happy 15th Birthday Noel!!!
