Good Mom or Bad Mom???

Confession:
Sometimes we just gotta play hooky!
Luke, Shera, Noel and I had a great day yesterday and went shopping at the mall, had birthday lunch with Holly (Sushi - her fave!) Jeff and Drew (then they went back to school). Then we went bowling, shared a giant RB with fries and onion rings! We really lived it up and it felt great! Don't you want to party with us??? Ha! Ha!

Watch how Shera plays around after she bowls her ball, then just barely notices at the last second she's getting a strike! So funny!

So, do any of you take days off with your kids? And if so, what do you do?

I think that's a great idea! Get it out of their systems (under your care) so that they are not tempted to ditch school behind your back (as if??) Thanks for the idea!

Of course you have to play hookey every once in a while! That is the best time to get out without the crowds.

Lauren's school is only two hours twice a week, so doesn't need to play hookey yet....unless cousin/best friend, Maggie is in town.

You are a fun mom! I'm sure your kids will remember the day you spent together longer than they would have remembered what was taught in class..
Yes, I have been known to pull my kids out of school... Usually to go to theme parks and holiday shopping!
