We went to Laguna Beach for a quick getaway alone! It felt like paradise! We needed a little time to ourselves and left Drew and Holly in charge. We had the added pleasure of returning to a clean home with ALL THE LAUNDRY DONE! AMAZING!!!
One of our favorite restaurants in Laguna is Las Brisas. We had nachos and pina coladas (virgin) out on the patio for dinner.
The view was incredible upon the cliffs!
There was a wedding that took place right below our balcony on the beach that afternoon. Everyone was barefoot and it looked very romantic, even with sunbathers looking on!

We love that restaurant! We went there for our Anniversary for the breakfast and the view was beautiful! And you made jam?? You are busy! We are making jam this Saturday--need that year supply to get through the year.
How fun to have time off, and at such a beautiful place.
But more importantly: can I have Drew and Holly come stay at my house while I take a vacation? I would love to come back to a clean house and no laundry. Wow. Those are good kids.

MMMM, Las Brisas is good, we used to go there for their brunch. Good food. Beautiful scenery. No kids. Eternal sweetheart. Laundry done. What a weekend!
