It was so beautiful inside and out!
The next day we arrived in Salt Lake at Jeff's parents house and then we went to Mr. Mac to pick up the last of Drew's supplies.
At Missionary Mall, Drew put his pin in where he will be serving on the world wall map!
Puerto Rico!!!
Puerto Rico!!!
Here are Drew's bags for two years all ready to go!
He gets two medium sized bags 40 lbs each, one rolling carry on and one backpack!
That's it!

Only one car is allowed to go into the MTC parking lot, so our family drove down to Provo and had our last few minutes talking with him. We dropped him off at the curbside and got about five minutes to say our final goodbyes and that was it! He was so happy and excited. We were all crying, but he wasn't. He was just ready to go!

It's impossible for me to look at that last picture and not bawl my eyes out!!! Drew will be an AMAZING missionary!
really makes you realize how much simpler we could live life to think that's all he'll really need for the next 2 years!
Wow...he looks like a missionary. Is that how it works? They get set apart, buy something at Mr. Macs and then *POOF* they turn into missionaries???
He'll be amazing.
I'm so glad you got to go with him and say goodbye--with a week together before hand! He'll be so happy to finally be serving--and what a great experience. I didn't know he was going to the MTC in the Dominican Republic. He's getting a taste of everything! Hope you're holding up ok.
He looks great and ready to go. Isn't it amazing how they are just so ready and all the sudden put on that suit and look and act like a missionary? He will be great. We miss Scott like crazy... especially on holidays but his letters home are so uplifting and hes LOVING his mission. Drew will be an excellent missionary... they will love him!
