1-10-2010 Sunday - Stephen Smith's Missionary Farewell

We heard our nephew, Stephen, speak today at church. He will be serving a full-time mission for two years in Washington D.C.
The thing that makes this such an exciting and unusual mission is that he will be speaking American Sign Language. He has already learned some sign language. Stephen will be a great missionary!

The kids loved being with their cousins too. Here is Luke and his cousin, Talia. They are good little buddies and they didn't even try to match their clothes. Pretty close, huh?

Cousins are like instant best friends in our family! Lauren and Maggie LOVE each other.

Sign language would make a cool mission!

My brother in law served in Washington DC, it wasn't ASL though... what a unique opportunity!
