Yes, Holly got her braces on again. She is preparing to have jaw surgery next spring when she comes home from BYU. She took it like a trooper. Hey, at least she didn't have them on for most of high school.
I THOUGHT those braces looked new in Shera's birthday post...
I had jaw surgery for TMJ in 9th grade. My mom came up with all kinds of pureed concoctions for me to eat since it all had to come through a straw. My favorite things to 'eat-drink' were smoothies (without any seeds cause you can't brush them away on the inside of your mouth), kearns nectar drinks, and if I REALLY needed to feel like I was having a meal...pureed spaghettio's! Tasted like tomato soup just a little thicker. Now it's funny to see all the dentists reactions when they take my x-rays. You can totally see the wires still holding my jaw in place. Good luck!
Carey didn't even notice the braces--they must look great! Welcome to the world of braces in college--talk to Erin, she knows all about it. She goes in on Wednesday for a consult with the periodontist for implants. Crazy! We're trying to finish them before Fall Semester begins, ugh!! Hope the braces go well Holly!
Noel won Castille Elementary Student of the Year from the Kiwanis Club. She's here with Peter Vidmar - 2x Olympic Gold & 1x Olympic Silver Medal winner.
