We always love to celebrate our holidays and St. Patrick's Day this year was no different. We woke up to a green breakfast of cream cheese Danishes, green eggs and green sausage! And when Shera poured the milk - the little leprechauns had been up to their old tricks again and made the milk green!!!
About a month before, Luke and Shera start making leprechaun traps throughout the house! they check them everyday and redo them. Sometimes the leprechauns have great fun and set off the traps - then the kids have to get them fixed up again!
Luke made this sophisticated trap one night!
After school that day - golden dust was found in the house and the kids followed the many trails all around until they found the buried gold!
Later that evening, we had a fine dinner of corned beef and cabbage with boiled red potatoes, green braided egg bread and Irish root beer!
Yummo!
Later for dessert, we had this Irish clover cupcake cake!
